/ THIERRY CORNILLET
Former National President of the Parti radical, and National Secretary of the UDF, he is one of the architects of the European Charter of Fundamental Rights. He is member of the Commission for Development and the Commission of Energy; he is standing rapporteur of the European Parliament for Humanitarian Action and he is also vice-president of the Joint Parliamentary Assembly Africa, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) at the European Union.
He is President of the International Association of Francophone Regions which has more than a hundred regions from more than 25 countries.
Thierry Cornillet was deputy-mayor of Montélimar, before his election as member of the European Parliament. He has a PhD in Political Sciences.
