With multidisciplinary training, Sami Makki is a researcher in human and social sciences, holder of a thesis in political sociology, prepared Under the supervision of Alain Joxe and supported in May, 2007. In charge of conferences to the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris, he also teaches, since 2004, in international and European strategic questions in Master's degrees to the University Paris I and to Faculty of political science. Specialist, internationally recognized, on American, British and transatlantic strategic issues, and civilo-military questions on the non state actors in theprocess of wars, he is an author of two scientific works and 45 articles.
In the center of African studies, Sami Makki coordinates the research program financed by the ANR " Processing of the conflicts " (2007-2010).
