/ JEAN DELMONT
Born on January 4th, 1945, Jean Delmont is Professor of Universities to the Faculty of Medicine within the Training and Research center in medicine and tropical diseases.
Awarded with a diploma with a Specialist qualification in hygiene and sanitary action (1974 ), Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (England, on 1975) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a State Diploma as doctor in medicine in 1976 for which he receives the Price for his thesis (section biology, bronze medal).
He is between 1982 et1988 Leader of works at universities in the laboratory of parasitology at the Faculty of Medicine of Marseille, between 1986 and 1990 Vice-Dean to the Faculty of Science and health at the University of Bangui in Central African Republic and since 1996 Director of the training center and research in medicine and tropical health ( CFRMST) to the Faculty of Medicine of Marseille as well as Head doctor in the service of infectious and tropical diseases, Houphouët-Boigny hospital as well as in Marseilles.
Professor Jean Delmont bélongs to numerous committees, academic and scientific societies. Besides he directs several university degrees and Masters in médicine and tropical health at the Université de la Mediterranée.
