LAUNCHING OF THE JAN EGELAND CONFERENCE CYCLES ON 20 OCTOBER 2009
In the scope of its training and research activities, the Institute for Advanced Studies on the United Nations launches a series of conferences in the field of humanitarian affairs, prevention and solving of conflicts. M. Jan Egeland, Director of NUPI and Special Advisor to the UN Secretary General for prevention and solving of conflicts accepted to support these events. He will honor us by opening the first conference on Tuesday 20 October 2009 in Marseilles.
