Robert B. Zoellick is the 11th president of the World Bank Group. He is chairman of the Bank’s Board of Executive Directors and president of a group of five interrelated organizations.

Today, the World Bank has 22 Vice Presidents managing 6 geographic regions, 5 thematical networks and 11 other operational units. The World Bank Institute ensures training activities and knowledge sharing. It belongs to the operational units managed by a Vice President.

The managing team of the World Bank Institute is placed under the authority of the Institute’s Vice President. It comprises the whole of top management executives of the Institute and gathers regularly. It takes decisions concerning strategic axis, allocation of resources, working program, recruitment strategy and processes applicable to the whole Institute.
