ALEXANDRE PARODI SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

/ SEMINARS

Seminars : building dialogue with practitionners

The Alexandre Parodi Scholarships Program will organize high-level seminars. These workshops will be based upon a semester basis and will be held in the Spring and Autumn until the closure of the program.

These seminars will have the originality to gather around a same table the eight PhD student and eight international affairs practitioners working for governments, international organizations and NGOs. Practitioners will entirely be renewed for each seminar.

The auditors will have the mission to exchange and think in a collective manner to a relevant topic either stemming from the actual context or historical that will have been preliminarily defined by the scientific direction. The seminars will therefore become an exchange platform encouraging researchers and young professionals to encounter. They will be able to communicate on their respective environments, their working methods and open to different states of mind.

The organization and the running of seminars will be taken in charge jointly by the Program’s direction and by a tutor. The program’s direction will handle the logistics whereas the tutor will handle the seminar’s operation mode. His mission will mainly consist in providing a pedagogical framework to the seminar. He will introduce the seminar’s topic, will organize the interventions, will collect the participant’s feedback and will moderate the debates. He will thus take care of the wmooth running of the seminar.

These events placed at the heart of the Alexandre Parodi Scholarships Program will take place in a city preliminarily chosen by the scientific direction. We will then alternate as much as possible between the European space and other continents. Once again, the Alexandre Parodi Scholarships program focuses on international connections and the beneficiaries mobility.
