How to apply to the Alexandre Parodi Scholarships Programme ?
The applications will have to be sent online via the IASUN website through the online application form for the Alexandre Parodi Scholarships Program.
All the candidates will have to fill with accuracy the following information:
- Registry of family status
- Curriculum vitae : academic and Professional course
- Their publications and research
- Their references (three recommendations produced by non relatives)
- The languages spoken and their level
- Their notes and obtained degrees all along their academic course
- Their Professional project
- Description of their research project (3600 words) – corresponding to the research axis of the Program
- The wishes for the university affiliation : the candidates will have to classify in preference order the three universities in which they would like to effectuate their PhD (among the associate universities of the Program)
If they are pre-selected, the candidates when they will come for interviews, will have to present a file containing all the evidence concerning the information required for the online application, i-e:
- Recommendation letters
- The language skills certificates in English and in the language of the wished host country
- Academic grades statements and certified copies of diplomas
After the selection process of the grant holders, the latterd will contract with the Institute for Advanced Studies on the United Nations in the framework of the Alexandre Parodi Scholarships Program, a convention which will engage themto domiciliate their resources in the host country, to devote themselves entirely to the pursuing of their thesis until the presentation, and to elaborate intermediary reports on the progression of their research, to participate to the seminars of the program and to publish their works. The grant holder will be held to reimburse all the expenses and fees paid by the Institute in case of program dismissal.
