The Institute for Advanced Studies on the United Nations : excellence, innovation and universality
The Institute for Advanced Studies on the United Nations is a specialized institute in the field of multilateralism, international organizations and the UN system. It is designed to support the emergence of a high-level international research and multidisciplinary education caucus.
The role of IAS-UN is to precede its time and thus through the excellence of its activities. Its mission is articulated around three main directions: the global study of the United Nations, the global study of multilateral processes and global governance, and lastly, the pursuing of training activities, animation and publication, remaining an open international forum. These different orientations are at the core of IAS-UN’s programs.
Besides, IAS-UN orients its action around five strategic aims: strengthen its intellectual production capacities, ensure the diffusion and implementation of its recommendations, intensifying its communication policies, as well as ensuring its good governance while reinforcing daily its Financial basis.
